Villareal - Barcelona

I've been considering 1X @ 2.45, but I just can't bet on it.
They are playing Barcelona, after all, and Barca just has the league left.
Still, Villareal has been solid at home.

Any thoughts ? kick off in 45 min.

Villarreal +1 -107 looks like it might be a decent bet. They're solid at home and are motivated to finish in the European places. Barcelona under a lot of pressure to deliver the league title, especially now that they've crashed out of Europe. Real Madrid is right behind them so that added pressure from their biggest rivals might make them play a little nervously. With quality squad like Villarreal's, I could see them getting a point at home to Barcelona, in the current circumstances.

On the other hand you could have a highly motivated Barcelona team that is determined to make up for their European exit and show the world that they're still the best in Spain. A team with a point to prove is always dangerous, it depends how the Barcelona players are feeling. If they can use their midweek disappointment as motivation to win today then it could work in their favour. If they can't get over that disappointment then it could work against them.

Should be an interesting game.

I agree with you there Sportslover, it depends on how Barca will handle the CL fiasko. Not easy
to know before the game :-) I don't see any value in the over 2.5 goals.

Barcelona are pissed and are only 1 point up Madrid, they should control and win this game. The only thing against them is the fatigue from the Inter game and being away, but they have too much quality to let that bother them too much.

IMO find another underdog, it's not smart betting against the best team in the world who have at least 70% possession even if they are in bad form.
