#13Wanted to post UNDER 2.5 as well before I saw this thread. Liverpool is one of the best clean sheet-keeping teams in England. They've kept clean sheets in 10 of their 18 home league games (55%). With Torres out of the line-up, Liverpool's offense isn't great. As for Atletico, they're not very productive on their travels. Having the lead from the 1st leg, Atletico are also likely to play a very cagey game (similarly to what Inter played yesterday).
Putting all that together, 3 goals will be hard to come by in this game.
I have Liverpool winning by 1-0 and the tie is decided in extra time.

#14I took the over. Madrid's defense on the road is not great. Liverpool scores well at home even without Torres.Comment -

#16My UNDER lean in the Liverpool game hinges on the high possibility of a goalless 1H.Comment -

#17Madrid needs to score to have a chance to qualify. When this happens Liverpool will need 3 goals to advance which makes the over 2.5 the best play available.Comment -

#20Yes, both teams need goals but will they get them as often as they want? Mathematically speaking, OVER is the call here but the game may easily go UNDER. BTW, UNDER is 3-1 in the L4 meetings between these sides.Comment -

#21The key is Aguero who didn't play first game. He will be partnered with Forlan up front and I am pretty confident they will score a goal. Liverpool is in great form after crashing Burnley. Madrid is very overish on the road. Look at their road games with Real M, Villareal, Espanyol, Mallorca, Valencia, Sporting, Galatasaray the last two months. They always try to score goals when they play with Aguero and Forlan up front which are purebread forwards.Comment -

#22The over is almost a guarantee here. If you look at the trends between these two teams in this spot they almost always hit the over. book it.Comment -

#25The trend doesn't favor Over here. Under is 3-1 in the L4 meetings and 1-1 @ Liverpool. So going by that trend, the Under has a 50% (1-1) chance @ Liverpool and 75% (3-1) overall.Comment -

#30Atletico have a 1-goal advantage. So Liverpool need either of 3 things:
1) Qualify in regulation time by winning with at least a 2-goal margin (2-0, 3-1, etc.)
2) Win the game by 1-0, which ties the series and then go on to win the game in extra time.
3) Win the game by 1-0, maintain a scoreless draw in extra time and win the penalty shootout.Comment -
