I do not like backing favourites on the road, however in this situation I think I can make an exception. Stuttgart is in great form right now, dropping only 4 points in there last 8 games (6-1-1) including 5 straight wins. Bochum is virtually the complete opposite with only 2 points in 8 games (0-2-6). Bochum also only has 2 home wins, 6 draws, 7 losses, far from impressive, Stuttgart has been mediocre on the road, but against a struggling Bochum team it is hard not to back them. Adding the fact that Stuttgart even beat Bayern in Munich a few weeks ago makes this even more appealing. Looking at past stats in the last 10 meetings dating back to 2004 Bochum have only managed 1 victory against Stuttgart with a couple draws, but predominantly Stuttgart wins. Stuttgart already dropped 2 points against Bochum earlier this year, I do not think they will drop anymore against this team, and it is a perfect oppurtunity for them to grab 3 points. If you cannot tell i'm thinking of backing Stuttgart in this spot.

Stuttgart has a pretty good record at Rewir Power Stadium, but this will be a very close game. The guests form the better team and are in a much better form, but I would like a little cover for a draw, maybe take Stuttgart(-0,25) on AH.

now looking at this I do not think betting Stuttgart -118 is +EV

i quite agree with you on this. Stuttgart ifghting very hard for a Europe position. Winning the rest of the league matches is imperative for them. but then, watch out for their last match along with others that are in contention for CL position. iIf Leverkurson shows some formthen Stuttgart may drop and probably loose or draw the last match.
