I agree with this and will be following suit.

In a vacuum Lyon are already overmatched all over the field. They were fortunate to squeeze past a very mediocre Bourdeux whilst Bayern rallied to move past Man United while playing subpar football themselves. Neither of these teams are world beaters, nor deserve (on merit) to have progressed this far in the tournament but Bayern have the players to justify it and Lyon don't.

Van Bommel's absence is a blow, but I think that it will be absorbed by Tamoschuk (sp?) and shouldn't hinder things too much.

Further problems for Lyon are that the long ass bus journey that they have to take because they can't fly. That kind of thing is not conducive to a good performance.

The only thing that I don't like is that the line is only -1. It seems to easy to me. If you guys can make a case for why Lyon can cover that then it will only make me more confident in Bayern as I suppose it will reflect a majority opinion that I just can't see. Lyon are not making a CL final, who are we kidding here? And if Bayern are going to knock them out, they're going to want to lay the groundwork at home.

i chose inter to win and go over.. i hit both.. got lucky not going to lie.. i went with my gut feeling.. tomorrow i have a feeling it will be a tie or win for bayern.. no way lyon will win, i just dont see it happening.. i think the bookies made their money off the inter win and not the draw or barca win. god this will be riskty

I'm interested in Lyon +1, but not at the current value. And I may take another shot at an early goal prop. Barca @ Inter paid +460 for first goal in first ten minutes and +440 for first goal between 11-20 minutes. That's easier to hit than an upset Lyon win at +440.

Possible distractions:
Lyon, like Barca, had to make a very long bus trip to get to game.
Van Gaal had to leave on Monday to attend the funeral of his mother.
Ribery is involved in a Parisien sex scandal.

Hard to bet against Bayern with the type of football they've been playing lately. A ML of -140 signifies that Bayern should win, but not cover the -1. This line means that the books want people to bet Bayern -1 and push, so that they'll make their money off people betting the draw/Lyon win. That'll be enough money to cover the ML wins (because most people will stay away due to the relatively high price). I'm considering grabbing Bayern ML before the price goes up.

The more i think about this, the more i think the draw. Lyon have such good attacking options, and despite the injuries, they are so solid at the back in this comp.
Bayern were poor in the first half of the united games, 1st and 2nd. Their midfield isn't great either (in the centre)
