    Wonders never end - Thursday
In the past few days we've witnessed stunning upsets. Just to mention a few:

    1) Portsmouth took out Tottenham out of the FA Cup
    2) Zaragoza beat Valencia
    3) Lowly Valladolid beat Sevilla (not surprising anyways)
    4) Xerex (+665) got a win on the road at Atletico Madrid
    5) Ross County (+1000) beat the Celtics in a Scottish FA Cup match.

    Now, let's look at these:
    1) Barcelona have realistically won the La Liga title. That means Real Madrid can't win anything this year.
    2) No team is challenging Real for the No. 2 spot in the league.

As a result of 1) and 2), motivation will likely be down among the Real players. In continuation of recent wonders, what do we think of this:

    Almeria/Real Madrid draw +385

Always good to see someone keeping track of underdogs.

Almeria hasn't lost the last 2 times Madrid visited... that being said Madrid have an excellent away record, they've scored 18 goals in their last 5 away games in the league and won all of them. I don't like making decisions purely on statistics, but Madrid do need to win this game to realistically be in the title race + their record = I'd rather watch this. But GL to those taking the risk.

        JOHON8,

Thanks for your insight. But let's not quickly forget that this same Almeria held Barcelona to a 2-2 draw.

        BTW, thanks for the points.

how can you tell all is over? Real Madrid has 7 matches to play, Barcelona 6... upsets are possible. in the other hand we're talking about Real Madrid...

I get your point, but if you look the remaining schedule of both teams, you'd realize the title is almost in Barca's hands. 6 wins and a draw is all they need and they can do it.

Let's forget about this. Bostonbruins says Madrid will win and he's never been wrong on Madrid. So don't waste your money on the draw.

Add Vojvodina to that list - they are leading Partizan by 1-3 away in a Serbian Cup Game.

The odds last time I checked for Vojvodina were +1000 and up.

Game ain't over yet - but who woulda thunk it

I also think there will be a ton of goals in the Almeria/RM match.
