A week and a half since my last bet but no way i'm sitting back and letting this under hit without having some action on it:
1 Unit on Wigan/Pompey UNDER @ 4/5
4 meetings since both got back into the PL at the JJB and only one has gone over, and that was a 2-1 away win for Pompey. Pompey have also scored just 8 goals on their travels and have seen 6 of 16 away games go under. Wigan are similar - just 5 of 16 games having gone over at home.
Pompey have scored a grand total of 3 in their last 6 away, and 5 in their last 6 overall. Wigan have managed just 14 home goals all season and 4 in their last 6 overall.
Both have poor defences but Wigan are quite solid at home, so i do not see Pompey scoring at all.
My only worry is that not only is the EPL going through a lean patch for goals, making an over the law of averages pick, but also Pompey are tired yet upbeat, so could be leaky at the back while confident of grabbing a win.
Whatever - i need action and this looks a good bet imo
