Tottenham vs. Arsenal (Van Persie is Back)
Wednesday April 14th: Tottenham - Arsenal

Both want 3 points. There is no reason why they would want a tie here, it really is do or die for Arsenal to challenge for the title with 1 game ahead of Chelsea (Chelsea's got it though IMO), and Tottenham fighting for 4th place with Man City ahead, they really have to fight for 3 points because a tie is really like losing when it comes to the tight table configuration.

I know the EPL has been a goal drought lately but there is that 1 match that produces a lot of goals (think man city 5-1 birm'ham). These 2 teams have been weak defensively recently, just look at the last few games. H2H it could be a coin flip since the last game at Spurs ended 0-0, but the last 5 meetings have produced 19 goals. Defoe, Van Persie, Bendtner, Crouch etc... plenty of quality scorers available. We can wait for tomorrow's line ups, but Van Persie being back is huge news for Arsenal. He is arguably their best player in front of Arshavin and Fabregas...

Anyways, I see a 2-2 / 3-2 for either side here... I'd like to say Arsenal wins this but Tottenham are at home and will probably reply with every goal.

OVER 2.5 (-130) looks like a good play here.

A 1-0 with chelsea last night making it 5-2 under last 7 games of EPL since saturday, when will it break with a flurry of goals??
I would say this has the makings of a goal fest, one that Arsenal win 3-1

But Arsenal are without Fabregas. I like the OVER but either side could win it. BTW, Tottenham play well at home. They're like the Bobcats of the NBA - good at home, terrible on the road.

Tottenham have very tough games till the end of the season (like Man City) and its gonna be really hard to nail EUFA spot with L`pool and Villa both knockin at the door.
Im not sure if they win with Arsenal but agree with you guys on Over here. Looking at Tot`ham home performences I see good results against decent opponents: 3-0 with City, 2-0 Fulham, 0-0 Villa, 2-1 Everton.
Having seen what I saw in FA Cup semi-final and having in mind all those injuries Im leaninig on Arsenal, eventually a draw.

Apart from the bolded text i completly agree with your analysis and the over in this game. Also with odds of 3.1 it seems like a bargain.

                                        ARSENAL

Bendtner and Van Persie are gonna rip Spurs up. Not on their own obviously, but they will be the key players to the gunners magnificient victory tonight. Even if Arsenal doesn't win Premier League, it would be worth something to beat Manchester United in the table. And that accomplished with many key players injured during large parts of the season. I personally think Arsenal have done a great season, during the circumstances.

A lot of similarities here; both need to win, both have good attacking options, both have shakey defences. Arsenal to win and over 3.5 goals for me.
