Gutted...have to say that was one of our worst first half performances this season. Chelsea deserved the win (even if the 2nd goal was offside by a country mile...blind twats!). Don't often criticise Fergie, but he got his tactics all wrong...should have never started Giggs, Scholes and Neville in a 4-5-1...all 3 were crap today. That's not a lineup with that formation that's going to get us any victories against most clubs, no creativity in the midfield and no one to run at defenders....just long raking passes and turning it over. Couldn't make any 5-10 yard passes today because our midfield was stretched..just stood there waiting for passes rather than coming to the ball and creating passing options. Once we brought on Kiko and Nani, we finally had players who could run at defenders and open up the wings....that allowed a player like Neville to flow forward. Not looking good right now....it's Chelsea's to lose now. If Fergie doesn't change his tactics, we have no chance against Bayern either.

I said United would be spent from that Bayern game and that Chelsea would go all-in after a good performance vs Villa last week. Rooney wasn't the reason I admit, but if there is a player that has bailed them out of tough games this season it's him. I wasn't 100% sure about this, any bet against United at Old Trafford seems like dead money, but I watch the EPL close enough to make decisions against the public, this was one I felt was good just like the Sunderland and Wolves game I talked about in the other thread.

Let's move on to Sunday matches and help each other find more upsets.
