For some reason the Bray vs Bohemians match was postponed. Couldn't find any info on it. Auxerre held on for the draw at Monaco though, which is good work. Not the easiest road game in France.

Tonight's Airtricity League Premier Division fixture between Bray Wanderers and Bohemians has been postponed following a pitch inspection at the Carlisle Grounds.

The game will be rescheduled at a later date.

It's the second game to be called off due to the bad weather as the Setanta Sports Cup clash between St Patrick's Athletic and Sligo Rovers was also postponed.

The reasoning behind backing Stabaek was that I had very little belief in Tromso when playing away from their northern habitat. Unfortunately Stabaek weren't up to the task.

Some losses are just a little more disturbing than others. I've had 2 in a row now, and this last one was unexpected.

I try to have a balanced approach to picking teams, and base my plays on numbers (stats, h2h, recent form, ATS nrs, odds opener and movement etc) and expect a certain return over a 100 picks (about 62 % winners). Some teams perform inconsistently, and they are the ones to avoid as you learn more about them.

Ah well. Hope it picks up from now on.
