Hey there friends i will post my picks here. I will justify my picks with brief writeups, do let me know what u think about it and point out anything i am missing. It will also include some tennis but i decided to post it here since it will be more abt soccer.
Everton PK 3.0 has to be the best value pick. Manc beat manyoo cos of the Rivalry, Arsenal cos of adebayor-arse duel and chelsea cos of JT affair. All 3 mega-performances were the results of off-field issues which had pumped the citizens. Against everton-a club of their own level, i dont find any particular reason why manc will be more motivated. And everton as a team overall is better IMO. This unbeaten home record can come to an end. My advice is dont pay too much attention to the stats, i think it will be very close, with it ending in a draw at worst for everton.
Spurs -1 @ 2.15
If you'll see the Serie A standing you'll find out that fulham's juve victory was more about Juve being awful than fulham being awesome. I think they already got their share of the big cup victory, now spurs win this one. And as everyone knows how Harry likes to go to wembley, spurs will be fully motivated. Think itll be 1-0 spurs but still playing -1 cos of 2.15.
Chelsea -1.5
with two huge kicks at the back side, CFC should absolutely hammer pompey. This is the only reason behind it otherwise difference in quality between the two sides is still the same as it was in the last blackburn game. What worries me is the deploying of paulo ferreira at the right back while his best position is in front of his TV in his living room. It was him who lost out the header against Diouf in the last match. Both the fullbacks are defensively a liability but good news is pompey wingers are championship calibre.
Blackburn Birmingham are similar physical sides with tall center backs. On paper 2 defensive sides hint towards an under as they will cancel each other out, but whenever i see this kind of matchup it goes over for me more times. Leaning on the over but not playing it. From one point of view, i can see the bigteamsmallteam syndrome where u beat a big club and then u lose to a small club the very next match taking down a lot of statistical bettors. From another POV, blackburn didnt beat CFC and Birm arent a small club so this theory might not apply here. Too tough wont play this one at all.
Like Villa -1 too but they might start pottying now that it is the season ending time and sunderland isn’t a bad side at all. Again i can;t find the logic to pick anything in this match so will avoid it.
Wondering all these crap words for something i am not gonna pick? I'm targeting 500 words for the sbr blog but it is so hard to reach
. Anyways best of luck if anyone tails me, let me know if i’m wrong anywhere and lets make some Pakistani rupees.
