Augsburg is a pretty good Div 2 side, they will probably get promoted to the Bundesliga next year. They are a the second highest scoring team in the lower league behind st. pauli. Bremen may want this cup more because their chance for europe bid in the league is very slim. However, this is their 3rd games in 6 days, fatigue factor should be added in.
Bremen is an overwhelming favorite in this game. They are the best team on the road but doesn't perform as well at home for some reason. Of course I will reconsider this if Bremen play any defense (0 clean sheets and 18 goals conceded in their last 9 home games). Augsburg also have the top scorer from the Bundesliga II, Thurk (21 goals), He found the net once in a 3-1 win against Ahlen after a 4 game drought. Hopefully he score once or twice, anything can happen in a shoot out game.
