The key player in this game is Malouda then Drogba. If you watched the West Ham game you'd see how many perfect crosses he put into the box which resulted in the win. Unless Inter pull off the game of the season I see Chelsea winning by 2.

    Becareful for these reasons:
-it's a CL game between 2 league leaders in their respective countries
-Mourinho would do anything to go through, so expect a solid game plan from him even though his players have sucked the last 2 weeks in Serie A

very hard game, i really don't like the fact chelsea is playing with there 3rd goalie who honestly didn't do anything last game beside maybe 1 save?

I think chelsea is gonna have the ball a lot malouda has ups and downs maybe he will come strong but you never know. If chelsea can score 1 goal they will pass and i think they can pull it off here at home.

Best bets if you decide to even bet on the game IMO is over 2.5 / Chelsea ML. you guys are right though there are better games out there on that day to risk money on.

A draw of 0-0 or we see lot of goals. I´ll post the analysis and my thoughts later to back it up.

yeah Italian teams have been pretty garbage lately... I even considered doing a big bet parlay on Chelsea and United to qualify before they even faced Inter or Milan. I'll do stuff like that when my bankroll gets bigger ...

Can´t argue on that. I´d just add that they´re garbage at the moment

I just have to for the allmighty God Of Soccer tonight that it will be a boring 0-0

I might put points on Chelsea at SBR to bring down my risk

I get your point, but he was suspended for both those games.

                                And don't you know:
"Everybody knows Mourinho doesn't lose at Stamford Bridge. My record is unbeatable. It is amazing - we were so strong for such a long time." -Jose Mourinho.

                                Some stats:
                                • The London club are unbeaten in 21 UEFA Champions League home matches, since Barcelona's 2-1 win at Stamford Bridge on 22 February 2006. Chelsea have won 15 of their subsequent home games.

                                • Chelsea have won three of the six UEFA competition ties in which they have had a first-leg deficit to retrieve at Stamford Bridge, the most recent defeat coming in the 2003/04 UEFA Champions League semi-finals against AS Monaco FC (1-3 away, 2-2 home). However, two teams have travelled to London on the back of 2-1 home wins in the competition in recent seasons, FC Barcelona (2004/05 first knockout round) and Fenerbahçe SK (2007/08 quarter-finals), and Chelsea won 4-2 and 2-0 respectively to go through on each occasion.

                                • Inter have been eliminated at this stage of the UEFA Champions League for the last three seasons, bowing out against English opposition in each of the last two campaigns.

                                • Mourinho's team won only two games in finishing second in Group F, two points behind FC Barcelona. Away from home they drew 1-1 at FC Rubin Kazan and won 2-1 at FC Dynamo Kyiv before losing 2-0 in Spain.

                                • Traditionally Inter have fared well when winning the first leg of a UEFA competition at home; of the 41 occasions the Italian side have initially won in Milan, they have recorded 37 overall victories. That includes three ties where Inter won 2-1 at home in the first match although the last time they triumphed by that scoreline, in the 2005/06 UEFA Champions League quarter-finals against Villarreal CF, they lost 1-0 in Spain and were eliminated on away goals.

Wolfgang Stark is in charge of the match.
His most recent experience with Inter Milan was the 0-0 draw against Barcelona in Milan in Sept. 2009.
His most recent experience with Chelsea was the 0-0 draw against Barcelona in Spain in April 2009. (That was the game when Puyol and Alex should have been sent off but he didn't show either a card because they were already sitting on yellows.) He even said the match had difficult moments after Barcelona's camp criticized him.

Ya know, if you really want to take Chelsea tomorrow, it's probably be best to take them at -135 to advance. I think that's probably the best shot considering they will likely either win by 2 goals or win in extra time. However, Essien being out would definitely come into play if this thing goes into extra time.

I rather staty away from this one game, Chelsea's been going down and Inter's more defensive than offensive, I expect a really boring game out of this to tell you the truth...

i put a small play on Milan +114 to advance. was bad enough they were going without Cech, but now Hilario?

Ross Turnbull will play in the biggest game of his life this evening despite some at Chelsea wondering whether he would ever salvage his career, so shocking was his display in a 4-0 trouncing for the reserves against Aston Villa’s second string at the start of this season.

Ancelotti also knows Inter very well so i don't believe this is a deciding factor.I believe nerazzuri are better up front this season with Eto'o and Militio than they were with Zlatan and they definitely have the quality to score today, but i think Chelsea is to strong for the Italians, as Inter's deffence isn't world class and Samuel,Lucio or Cordoba are great goofers; Maicon or Zanetti no match for Chelsea's wingers.I'm going with Chelsea to qualify and over 2,5 for the match.

If you watched the West Ham game you'd see how many perfect crosses he put into the box which resulted in the win. Unless Inter pull off the game of the season I see Chelsea winning by 2.
