Ok guys, here we go for another weekend of European Soccer.
Now I gave it some thought and I’m gonna go with some high paying games if they hit. I’ll give the reasoning behind why I chose these games.
Now bear in mind that in sports betting, as you all know, nothing is for sure so maybe none of these will be winners, but if they are, then we’re in for a party.
I missed a lot of the games for today and Saturday. But I’ll put up what I have left.
Sunday March 7
Italy Serie A
Cagliari-Catania
Pick: Catania @ 3.90 (with a cover on a draw @ 3.25)
Time: 4:00pm GMT+2
Cagliari is not interested in playing in Europe next year (I mean they won’t qualify for UEFA or Champion’s League). Catania showed they mean business against Bari. They’re only one point away from the danger zone (which leads to a lower division next year). They need the win more. I’ll take Catania and a cover on the draw.
Spain Primera Division
Espaniol-Villareal
Pick: Villareal @ 2.90
Time: 6:00pm GMT+2
I don’t see why Espaniol should be favorites in this game. They haven’t been playing all that special anyway. They don’t make you trust them so why put your money on them? Now I’m not saying this game will not finish with Espaniol winning 2-0. BUT Villareal is starting to roll (it’s about time) and I’m starting to trust them on defense.
Greek Superleague
Iraklis – Olympiakos
Pick: Iraklis @ (with a cover on a draw @ )
Time: 7:00pm GMT+2
Iraklis is undefeated at home in 2010 (2 dwins – 3 draws). Some of the best teams in the league haven’t left there with a win this year and Olympiakos will in the condition they are in? It’s possible, but I think this is a good a time as any to bet they won’t. Refs play a big part in the games unfortunately so you can never be sure. Olympiakos is out of form. They haven’t been doing well and have been ousted from first place. There has been a lot of complaining in the locker room and the relationship with the coach is far from good.
I think it’s worth a shot. And another note, Iraklis won as a visitor last week with a score of 0-4 and surprised a lot of people including me!
Again, bear in mind that these are not "sure" plays by any means. That's why they have such great odds!
