well just got it a yesterday, so not too deep into it. Hate to pass early judgment, but i don't love his writing style. .. He tries to explain things as thou you don't know soccer (like explaining what a red card is)...Hopefully he only does that early in the book.
On the pro side, its a topic that is interesting, and a topic that doesn't have much written on it, so that makes it enjoyable. Nice little stories showing why and how matches are fixed. He talks about statistical analysis pertaining to fixed matches, but dons't show the data, only speaks on it (such as, red cards are actually less common in matches fixed by players)....
can't give an conclusive review, but i have already learned a couple things.. nothing amazing, mostly things i never thought about. In saying that, I would say pick it up.
