Melbourne's been in a crazy funk lately and Kawasaki still has a change to qualify for the next round and will need the 3 points today.

That and they are not good in the AFC and star striker Archie Thompson is absent. Leigh Broxham misses through suspension, while Tom Pondeljak is still sidelined through injury. Marquee striker Archie Thompson will miss the rest of 2010 with a knee injury.
Melbourne will be playing with its bench players and Kevin Muscut (Old) will be back too.
Melbourne are playing for pride, while Kawaski can still qualify.
