Mihaita - we should set up an SBR contest for the World Cup. What do you think, something like 30-50 point buy-in with top 20% winning some points. Something like 10-15 minimum picks for the group stages and like 5-8 for round stages? Just brainstorming. Tell me that doesn't sound alluring for a guy with your soccer record.

Oh, and when the US wins the World Cup, I'll be turning a $5 futures bet into $300!! I can dream, right....

I hope I will finish paying my loans by that time, altough I will probably ask for a donation from you guys ( I don't know, but I think whoever constantly reads my thread wouldn't mind gifting me with 1 point or something - just a guess).
And my football record could and will be much better next season. I, since joining SBR in September 09, have developt constanrlt as bettor, and my development will continue gradually, I really really love this forum, and the football one is just amazing. (I say it from tiem to time, in case you haven;t noticed so far)

gloria played for cfr, it was as clear as can be. defended for the whole match....well, the title rtace is over here. Few things left to play for here.

for the 2nd place : Urziceni will win next round against Ceahlaul, at home, that's for sure, while in the last round, they will play against Iasi, on road. Iasi could be mathematically relagated by that time. FC vaslui will probably finish 3rd.

For the relegation part : there are 4 teams fighting to stay alive :

Pandurii Tg-Jiu has the least chances, they will play against Timiroara and will not get more than 1 point (if they will, ) and against Alba-Iulia, but that match might not be important anymore.
Poli Iasi has missed a vital chance today, which may cost them. However, I wouldn;t be surprised if they win next round against Gloria Bistrita. In the last round, I give them few chance to win against Unirea.
Universitatea Craiova plays against Steaua, on road, and this can be a huge underdog that hits. I think Craiova will be +500 or even more and Steaua may sell this match, as they have lost everything. Also, Florin Costea, Craiova's best player, can arrive to Steaua next summer, and this match might be part of the business. Even more, last year, Craiova was playing great before the match against Syteaua, in which they didn;lt play anything, and ppl considered ithis match suspect. Craiova will play against Galati in the last round, and thre will be 3 points for them here for sure. Actually, if we think better of it. with 37 points, Craiova will be saved, because I seriously doubt that Poli Iasi will win twice in the last two matches. If both teams will have 37 points (craiova has 33, iasi 31), Iasi will be over Craiova, because they have better direct results).
Astra has 34 points, and needs 3 more to be saved from the swamp. They can produce an upset next round, Dinamo is shit and I would not be shocked to see them failing to win against AStra. And Astra will also win in the last round as they are playing against Gaz Metan at home.

The next weekend will give me some certain info and in the last round I plan to destroy my bookie
