It's quite unpredictable, two of Romania' strikers are out of shape, no question, their appeareances at the club teams haven't been with goals lately. Marius Bilasco from Steaua and Ciprian Marica from Bundesliga out of shape Vfb Stuttgart. The team is much done but it's unsure who will start in the attack. Most probable Daniel Niculae will join Steaua's Bogdan Stancu which has shown a very good shape lately. In my oppinion we're gonna have the most unexperienced middlefield in a long time, when Romania had one of the best years ago. Marius Roman, Razvan Cocis, Costin Lazar, Iulian Apostol, Mirel Radoi, George Florescu, Ciprian Deac, Ianis Zicu; all these players are out of shape or don't have late national team matches played. Ianis Zicu showed a good form at the club team FC Timisoara but he hasn't been playing the national team since ages. George Florescu from Alania Vladikavkaz is the first target of the fans for not showing anything in the previous matches, Deac is used 10-15 in the end of the Schalke matches without being noticeable and the others just play the regular football, nothing out of common. That's gonna be our first big problem of the match, this middlefield won't be able to face 1vs1 the middlefield of France. And it's known that Lorent Blanc is predisposed to a tough defence. Romania squad is under construction, France is struggling with the fans madness due to latest results, i don't know which will be the best bet for this match, but Romania doesn't give me any confidence, neither France. In the end, if i was forced to make a bet, guess it went on France double chance and under 2.5 goals with a small stake.

That was my game i was reading now. Let me bet against you. The England U21 squad is without any doubt one of the most powerful ones since a long time. Also some youngsters from the first national team of England have been sent to the U21 squad for this important match. This is the first leg of the playoffs, the 2nd one will be played at Botosani in Romania, on 12 of Oct. The Romania squad U21 is facing problems with the strikers, Mihai Costea and Liviu Ganea will miss this game for sure, Liviu Ganea also will miss the 2nd leg. Both important players for the squad, active scorers till now. Marius Alexe has just recovered after a bad injury and it's not fit for the match altough he might be forced to play. On the other side Kieran Gibbs and Jack Wilshere have been dropped down from the senior squad, Gibbs will take a seat on the bench while Wilshere is probable to start.

Now betting on Romania could be just pure madness. You might take the over 2.5 @ 1.90, good odds, a possible Romania goal is probable to happen, but a victory is quite impossible with the present squads. The only one which i don't trust in England's squad is the coach, Stuart Pierce. But if you put the line-up from England U21, you could easy form a Premiere League team, most of the youngsters are starting players for most of the Premier League teams.

C Smalling is forming up after a transfer to Man.U. Solid defender.You could see how he perform on the last game in Carling Cup.
T Cleverley had a good start pre-season and on loan at Wigan. Sir Alex will take him back in this Winter transfer window for 1st team spot.
D Sturridge is a striker you "should" never laid your eyes off him when he is given more chance to play with the 1st Chelsea team.

Conclusion, England is strong and stable from head to toe...A tie is the worst outcome, not any chance Romania can beat England

Bdevil, after looking at the U21 game yesterday and at the game we won against Russia U21 3-0, I think that the solution for the national team in the next 2-3 years is a massive exodus from the U21 team to the big team. If we keep just a few players, like Stancu, Tanase, Lazar, and next to them, we bring Gardos, Gaman, Florin Costea, Torje and others, we can really have a good team....Of course without R. lucescu. what do you think of my view over the Romanian football :P ?

We've got good youngsters, but unfortunately the lack of education will weight a lot in the development of our national team. Most of the good players Romania has have given up school since teenagers. And now i'm talking with examples, Denis Alibec, the young national striker from Inter Milan transfered from my team, Farul, was a permanent scorer at the national team. Now he grew up, but he's not the same. He gave up school, he has only the high school finished, he's losing nights at Inter Milan. We've got talents, they like football, but nowadays our football is played with the inteligence of the mind and less with the foot only. That's our main concern really. We need quality players, not good players ... because they will lose the team like our talents did. Hope they will play football at high level for a long time, but Alibec, Daminuta, Cosmin Matei from U21 from my point of view are lost bets for the future and till now they rocked big. That's the age of crysis, when you pass 17 and have all the world at your feet, you lose the concentration. We have players, we need to the school of life and good trainers. I like Piturca and Razvan Lucescu for being drastic with players which have behaviour problems and they won't pass this shit. Like Lucescu and Piturca did with Mutu and other players not called for a long time on the national team. That's the only thing i like most.

That is not an education problem. Rooney and others are not educated at all. Michael Jordan graduated Uni cuz every US basketball player does it. He's got master degree in geography but i bet he wasn't even attending any of those lectures.
This is just a part of being famous. The sportsmen all over the world need to learn how to live such a life. They are well paid and they should give a proper behaviour in return. Not everyone can cope with that. I still think they earn way too much money

it's not about how much things you know from school, science, literature or history. It's about knowing to manage your life, as a sport player. See, it's like this : you're an average earner and suddenly, you win a lot of money. And you're 21. Altough you are gifted, if you spend the night in clubs, and get drunk frequently, u will lose your skills, and your stamina. that's the case of many romanian players, talented, and young, but without such education.
