We have some interesting matchups tonight and with the advice of some of the members on and some solid stats i am going to make a couple of half unit plays. Nothing major tonight, i was lucky last night and i don't want to get silly tonight.
Blackburn Vs Wigan - Blackburn win and Over 2.5
I think we will see both outcomes come through here and i am confident that Blackburn can win this convincingly.
Despite being sh*t, Blackburn are actually very solid at home. They recently beat Fulham 2-0 at home and that was sandwiched in between 2 big losses to Villa in the cup. I think they had given up in this and now can set themselves straight with this league game.
Head to head form alone favours both outcomes tonight: Blackburn have won their last 3 at Ewood against Wigan and 2 of the 3 went over 2.5 goals.
With Wigan poor on the road, especially defensively, i believe Blackburn will score at least 2. They have lost just 1 of their last 6 home games and only 2 all season. They have drawn a fair few but Wigan on the road read just 3 wins and 7 defeats from 11. They also have lost 4 of their last 6 and that win was against Wolves, who cannot score themselves.
With this being a local derby also, i expect a high tempo and with odds at evens for the Blackburn win, and +105 for over 2.5 goals, i think we see at the very worst one hit, and to make my night a lot better, both
