The Man U line is a runaway train
Haven't really proved they are better than City in either game and they are steaming on both the win and to advance lines.

    Hmmm.

first post..grad student here in Manc and an avid United supporter. The city is buzzing right now and I think United will take it to them tonight at Old Trafford. Tevez and Gary Cook have pretty much done the talking this week to fire up United more than they already are for this one and the likes of Giggsy, Rooney and Scholes will get the team focussed and Fergie knows they won't hear the end of it if they get knocked out by City. Mancini will try to protect their lead and be happy to sit back and defend which doesn't usually work at Old Trafford and plus without Toure and Lescott in the back, their defense is going to be pressured and exposed all game as it was against the Toffees at Goodison Park. I think United's midfield with Giggsy, Fletcher, Anderson and Valencia should be able to dictate the flow in this one and open it up for Rooney. I really like United to take this one 2-0.

I'd say the line movement is due to public money on United. A lot of the time, especially at home, the public will bet them. Tracking the line movement for the previous Carling Cup game, City started as favourites, but as more money came in, United became favoured, and we saw what happened there. If you're going to bet United, do it now, if you're betting city wait til kickoff. Anyway, this match tonight could go either way, good luck.

              Absolutely!

+500 dogs against one of the worst United side in recent memory. It's not like United is the only team raring to go in this tie.

Man city only won last match because of the bogus penalty call on Man Utd just before the 1st half ended

Solid point, that penalty was bogus, but I was on City so waved it off.

United will win this on the ML.

Exciting second half. Rooney needs to save some goals for the World Cup.
