Why after a game goes tied and it goes into extra time why does a team always score multiple goals in a short period of time. I am just occasional watcher and better so I don't know a lot. I have seen this today is the Egypt match and many times in England matches. A heavily favored team will be tied ending regulation. They get multiple goals in no time. Does the other team just give up? Just curious.

#2Possibly superior fitness levels, or possibly just the fact extra time gives more time for quality to overcome.
A team could throw the kitchen sink for 90 minutes and maybe not score, but you know sooner or later they are going to.Comment -

#3Both goals should never have happened, one was Geremi having a divvy fit, and the other was kameni having a spacker attack, honestly, the guy has no co-ordination at all
I think generally most games go to pens, but goals will come through tiredness mainlyComment -

#4A combination of things really. If a favourite scores in ET, the underdog have to throw caution to the wind, push mean forward which leaves them exposed in defence. The effect of this is compounded by fatigue.Comment
