#37thanks as well, wilforth. it's nice to make a small wager before bed, then wake up the next day to see that my account has edged higher.
i don't often tail in blind faith, but it paid off here. (to be honest, i thought willem ii was a type of dutch boutique beer!).
we live - we learn.
have a good day, mate.Comment -

Netherlands: NAC Breda +140
Breda are on the road at Willem II. The likelihood of a draw is very slim here. Willem II have only 2 home draws in 10 games, while Breda have drawn only once in their L10 road games. Breda may have lost 6 on the road but that was against teams that are much better than Willem II. Breda have won their road games against teams at or near the basement and that trend should continue when the play a Willem II that's currently the second worst team in the entire league.Comment -

#39Breda have drawn only once in their L10 road games.
I'm sure a draw is coming soon. It generally does.

#41taking that into account, i guess there's always the option of the nac breda draw/no bet. it's paying -125 or thereabouts.
that's nothing to be sneezed at for those of us who are sometimes reluctant to storm the parapets.
good luck.Comment -

#42That's a wise conservative play. I think you can parlay NAC Breda PK with Werder Bremen ML for some nice plus-value play.Comment -

#45Willem II's really pumped for this derby. They're up 1-0 and have had much better chances so far. NAC's Leonardo was injured and subbed out around the 20th min. It's cold and rainy there, hopefully Willem II will run out of gas and show their true form.
UPDATE: NAC just scored the equalizer, but the ref called it away for a foul. It was a terrible, terrible call. The trailing defender fell down, the official implied that the NAC player hooked him down.
UPDATE X2: NAC has scored again, and it counts this time!Comment -

#50wilforth: congrats on 'the rats' (hmmm. poetry clearly isn't my forte), with nac breda getting the job done.
i took your advice on an arranged marriage involving breda pk and werder bremen ml (post #42). it turned out to be a fruitful union for all involved!
well done.Comment -

#51I'll second that. And would add Italy serie B and Spain Segunda division to this list. Spain segunda has ridiculously high draw %, little over 35 - actually it might be a good idea to bet blindly draw everytime it is priced over 3.Comment -

#59Nice win, alittle surprised to see Racing play 3 overs so far in the Clausura considering this team has been pretty good at defending and do play alot of unders. Confident their next game should go under.Comment -

#61Be careful with going Under in their next game. What's clear to me is that their defense isn't good. Depending on their next opponent, I may go Over on them again. I don't do Under plays at -150ish odds.Comment -

England Champsionship: Watford +105
Watford host a Bristol City that has scored only once in their L3. Bristol's struggles don't look like abating today. Let's side the better offense to get the job done at home.Comment -

#66nah, that's cool mate. keep posting at your discretion.
i'm in brisbane, australia... which is a superb part of the planet, but carries the burden of having an ugly time zone.
most european football games are played between 3am and 6am here. having said that, i've got a newborn so i'm up at various ungodly hours of the evening anyway.
i appreciate your picks and insights (across the nba, too) ... regardless of when they're written.
cheers.Comment -

Manchester United -117
Manchester United travel to Aston Villa. For starters, Machester United is 8-1-1 against Aston Villa in the L10 meetings. As of now, there's no doubt as to which team is the hotter of the two. Aston Villa have scored a miserly 2 goals in their L5 games and both goals were in the same game. That means Villa have failed to score in 4 of their L5 games. On the flip side, Man United have scored a whopping 16 goals in their L5 games. In recent years, Man Utd have always done better in the second half of the season and that seems to be the case again this year. Man Utd go into this game with a lot of momentum and they should be able to get all the points against a team that they literally "own".Comment -

#68Wil, I'd be careful on Man U. The line is down to -110 on The Greek and it looks like the books are begging for Man U money. And we know what that means.Comment -
