forgive my ignorance, but If there are better odds for a -1/2 spread versus the moneyline, wouldn't it make sense to take the -1/2 spread since a draw loses either way?

and on a -1.5 spread, liverpool bet loses if they win only by 1 correct?

It would make sense to get -.5 rather than ML but that would have to be a mistake if listed that way.

If Liverpool only wins by 1 than I lose half the bet not the whole thing.

ya bodog definitely has the lines like that, -.5 gets -110, but the moneyline gets -115 odds. weird, im taking the -.5 lol.

Bodog lets you parlay MLs but doesn't let you parlay most spreads. I think that might be the reason for the difference in the odds.

If you haven't played them yet, you may wait until you see the lineups. Some of the teams don't care much about the competition.

Kazan are the better team but the Russian league is on break right now. Since Dec 9, 2009, they haven't played a competitive game. That's the only source of concern, otherwise, Kazan -1 is a good play. I hope that helps you.

Agreed. That's why in this stage it's usually best to go with dogs on the handicap. Think there could be a few upsets tomorrow (check out Galatasaray and Fenerbahce).

Yeah , that was my only worry, the kazan players being a bit rusty. Hopefully they'll play as well as they did against barca in the nou camp.
