I don't personally bet soccer and would hardly count myself among those with even an average knowledge about the sport, however, the book I had recommended to you at 2+2, Jospeh Buchdahl's Fixed Odds Sports Betting: Statistical Forecasting and Risk Management, does have a bit to say about handicapping the sport.

And is an overall great book to read.
