    Wolfsburg - Manchester United.

United's defensive players are all gone, but one, Patrice Evra.
Wolfburg, needing a win, should be able to score some.

United is without Rooney, Berbatov and Giggs. So can United score ?
Not sure the over 2.5 goals is a good bet, maybe Wolfsburg can score 3
    against this B-team ?

"United are assured of qualification with one game remaining and strikers Wayne Rooney and Dimitar Berbatov and midfielder Ryan Giggs have been left out of the trip. Evra and a 19 year-old inexperienced player are the only two defenders they have in the squad .. midfielder Carrick will play the third defender ... "

Wolfsburg are favorites to win this game ... Don't think Wolfsburg will score 3 ... but they might take it 2-1 .. I think the draw is the better value play ... but I'll be staying away froom this game with my own money.

Its 2.22 on 5Dimes right now - I don't think that is value though .... When i handicapped the game I gave home win chance around 45% (2.22 odds) which is right around where it is ... draw chance around 33% (3.03) & away win chance around 22% (odds 4.55) so for me - the value play is the draw @ odds of 3.45-3.50 because I can get better odds than I think they should be offering for the draw ...

For the remaining CL games, one needs to find out which teams actually need results, especially when such teams play against teams that don't need results. Motivation is the key to the outcome of the remaining groups games.

              I like these:

              Tuesday:
              Wolfsburg 1H +155
              Marseille/Real Madrid OVER 2.5 (-125)
              Zurich/AC Milan UNDER 2.5 (+100)

              Wednesday:
              Liverpool/Fiorentina draw +215
              Olympiakos Pireus/Arsenal OVER 2 (-120)

anyone is on stuttgart for the match against Urziceni ?
Stuttgart needs 3 points to qualify, Urziceni is qualified with a draw. The match is played in germany. In the first leg it was 1-1. in bundesliga, stuttgart is 16/18, while unirea is, in Liga 1, 1st/18 (sharing the same place with other teams).

                thoughts ?

                  Juventus - Bayern Munchen

Interesting match there. Bayern must win to take the second place. Juventus is good
with a draw. What can Bayern do ? Juventus hasn't lost in 16 games at home in European tournaments.
Over 2.5 goals or is Juventus strong enough to keep Bayern at few goal chances ?
The bookies think the under is most likely, I'm not so sure.

Juventus is a mystery as far as European games are concerned. I'd go with a draw in that game. I think a 1-1 draw is a fair deal.

I've stopped betting draws, too many failures
I think you're right, 1-1 is reasonable. Maybe I will stay away from this game

                        Maccabi Haifa - Bordeaux

At first glance this match seems to be dead under. Bordeaux is already number one, and
Haifa has zero points and scored zero goals.

But there are some factors for playing the over:

-Bordeaux has sent an experimental team, 10 of the first team regulars are staying home.
                        - Haifa has lost 4 games 1-0, so it's not that it's a terrible team, they have been unlucky.
-Haifa is eager to finish Champions League with points and goals scored.
-Bookies has odds on over at 2.30

                        Any inputs ?

Don't think Wolfsburg will lose, Man U bringing hardly anybody from the A team, the defense is decimated as it is and Rooney and Berbatov won't make the trip.

I like Besiktas -0 at home tomorrow against CSKA.
