Dinamo Kiev vs Kazan
Kazans debut in the Champions League tonight agast the Experinced Dinamo Kiev. Kiev now have ex CSKA moscow manager Valeri Gazzaev in charge and while he was at CSKA moscow he had a good record vs Rubin Kazan in the russian league. I think expeince and home advantage will play a large part in this game, which is why i think Kiev will win the game.
Leans: Dinamo Kiev
Inter vs Barcelona
Two Very high quality teams here, which makes the game hard to cap, on one side we have Morinhios Big strong diciplined Inter Milan vs the European Champions. Now since Morinhio is a smart manager i belive he will attempted to contain Barcelona much like chelsea did last year which would suggest a under 2.5. However due to the quality of both sides i doubt ill be laying and money on this game.
Leans: ? / under 2.5
Liverpool vs Debrecen
Liverpool are clearly one of the best and most consistent performers in the Champions League, and i dont think this year will be any different. With the Kop behind them i see Liverpool getting an early goal and running away with this game.
Leans: Liverpool -1.5
Lyon vs Fiorentina
Dispite selling Benzema Lyon have improved upon last years squad. Lisandro Lopez, Bastos and Gomis will more then full the viod left by selling Benzema and the French outfit will be looking to continue there solid Champions League form by getting past the group stages. Lyon have started the league well with 4 wins and a draw in 5 games. Fiorentina sold the key stone of there Midfield Felipe Melo to Juve and key striker Mutu is 50/50 to weather he plays or not tonight. Without Mutu in attack Fiorentina find it difficult to find goals. Lyon have the better squad, more experince and are at home.
Leans: Lyon Win
Olympiakos vs Alkmaar
Olympiakos recently sacked there manager so im not sure how this will affect the outcome of this game. Traditionally Olympiakos are strong at home and make it into the last 16 based upon the strong home form. Alkmaar are a strong diciplined outfit and will be looking to get a valuable point. Im leaning towards an Under but due to the manager change im going to leave this game.
Leans: ?
Sevilla vs Unirea U.
Theres a big quality difference between these two team, however as we have seen from Romanian teams in the past, they know how to defend. Now i predict Urirea will be comming for the draw, and as shown in the confederations cup and last night with Atl. Madrid, spannish teams find it tough to break down teams that park the bus in frount of the goal. However Sevilla do posses possible the best striker in the world at the moment in Luis Fabiano and generally do score a hat load of goals at home.
Lean: Under 2.5 Goals
St. Liege vs Arsenal
Arsenal clearly have the quality advantage here, however they are missing alot of key members of the team including 2 keepers, 3rd keeper Vito Mannone will play this game:
Samir Nasri **, Johan Djourou *, Lukasz Fabianski *, Andrei Arshavin *** , Carlos Vela *, Manuel Almunia **, Theo Walcott **, Robin van Persie ***, Denilson Neves ** (INJURED/SUSPENDED)
Liege however are missing there key midfielder Steven Defour and Dalmat may also be out of tonights game.
Due to the extent of the injurys it makes this game difficult to cap, Arsenal and Liege will be missing alot of fire power so maby under 2.5 is the option to take.
Lean: Under 2.5
Stuttgart vs Rangers
Rangers have had a tough time of late with a dissapointing draw with Motherwell who dominated vast segments of the game and were unlucky not to win missing a penalty in the final minutes of the game. Stuttgart have improved there squad this season with Pogrebnyak Hleb and Kuzmanovic however have also started the league in poor form with only 1 win in 5 games. Both teams in bad form, however Stuttgart has the better squad and is at home.
Leans: Stuttgart/under 2.5
