Odion Ighalo's Man Utd loan contract
Manchester United are closing in on a deadline-beating loan deal for the former forward Odion Ighalo after agreeing the switch with Chinese club Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo - who scored 39 goals in 99 appearances for the Hornets between 2014 and 2017 - is poised to be the man that United turn to amid their shortage of forward players in the wake of a back injury suffered by Marcus Rashford.
Anthony Martial and youngster Mason Greenwood are currently the only forwards fit and available to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, but after an exhaustive search of short-term targets it now appears that Ighalo will become a United player in the coming hours.
