    Real Madrid - 2009/2010
After watching clips of the presentations of Kaka and Ronaldo, I began to sympathize with bettors. A lot of bettors will lose money on Madrid this coming season. In the MLB, you saw what the Phillies did on Monday? They beat the Reds in a 22-1 rout. Then on Tuesday the whole world was on them and then they lost. I see Madrid behaving similarly this coming season. They win one game by about 8-0 and then everyone jumps on them in the next game, taking everything that's cashable - Madrid 1H, 2H, ML, RL, Over, Ronaldo to score, Kaka to score, etc, and then they lose like the way Spain lost to the US in the Confederations Cup - losing the 1H, 2H and game in a shut-out.

    Be warned!

This time next season they will either click and become an amazing team or everybody will be asking, where did it all go so wrong, the bigger they are the harder they fall. I don't know if Pellagrini can handle all the big names and he won't have much time to get the team playing well.

Real Madrid are like a gambler with a huge bankroll on an epic loosing run who is chasing like crazy to get it all back on what he see's as sure bets.

Barcelona are the smart investor whose bankroll is growing at a ridiculous rate, they have the system, strategies, skills and know how to make themselves a huge success.

While everybody is focusing on Real, Barcelona snapped up Kerrison from Palmeires in Brazil, this player has the potential to become world class, I've known about his for a while and he has alot of potential. Within a few years he could be worth what these guys going to Real Madrid are.

I think Barcelona will still be the best team in Spain this season and will even get better odds because of the Real Madrid hype.

The fact of the matter is that Madrid is buying those players more for marketing than for soccer reasons. That's why they've encouraged Ronaldo to start dating Paris Hilton so he can start spreading his fame in the US. It's all a circus show! We've seen it all before with Beckham. Barcelona are still the team to beat in Spain.

They're probably already halfway to recouping what they spent on Ronaldo and Kaka with merchandise sales.
Real Madrid under Perez is built to be a money making machine. You would think that winning football trophies is almost an after thought for him.

They will score goals for sure with that midfield/forward line

But be assured they will let goals in, team is far too top heavy, as usual with this outfit.

Definately a lay against decent opposition away from home in the champions league

They play Shamrock Rovers in a pre-season friendly next Monday in Dublin, Ireland. They play in Tallaght in a newly built 5,000 capacity stadium (which is been expanded to hold 9,000). The thing is, Shamrock Rovers will have to play their under 21s team because they have home league matche within a day of the friendly.

So far Kaka is meant to be travelling Ronaldo is set to make his debut against Rovers of all teams. I'm not sure what other 'big stars' are meant to be playing.
