Club Destroyer are a newly promoted side to the first division , so it will take a few games to determin whether or not they will stay there. Their initial introduction was a lopsided 4 - 0 loss at Wilstermann. Univ Sucre are an offensive minded side to begin with, and travel to Destroyers soil where they have had no trouble filling the net. It seems to be a very generous price imo

Racing have had mixed reviews on the road this campaign. They dominate play through their superior midfield, yet surrender goals on the counter. The biggest problem has been a long list of injuries along the back 4 , but they are all long term now. They looked to be cruising again with a tidy 4 -0 home win vs Huracan on Feb 4 , but the jury is still out on their road form. Luckily they travel to bottom feeder Olimpo , who are hard pressed to find a victory against any top flight side. It really is a case of David vs Goliath with Racing having a transfer value of $51.5 Million versus a mere $8.5 for Olimpo. Hopefully , Goliath will be aware of the potential stone cast by David, and control the affair from start to finish as they should. Great value for the away side imo.

Costa and Greizmann start up front today , with the usual suspects crowding the midfield for Atletico. They are in dire need of a result and travelling to lowly Malaga is exactly the cure for what ails them. Should be a tough ask for Malaga to find any real scoring chances

Villa have been on fire for a while as they have climbed back into contention for promotion back to the premier league. They have also conceded in 11 of their past 12 road games.

Just looking at the #'s of both teams in their most recent games, its clear that neither team has given consideration to defense. Dep. Coruna have conceded 14 goals in their past 3 league games , which prompted ownership to make a managerial change. Out the door is Aguilera , and enter Dutch start Clarence Seedorf. He has a vast amount of experience to pass along to his troops , but this game is only an assessment of what he has to work with. Real Betis are a mid table side that has an attack first mentality. The past 6 games overall were totals of 3 , 5 , 5 , 5 , 8 , 2 . More importantly today , will be the exclusion of two key defenders , Feddal ( Achilles injury ) and Barragan ( Yellow card accumulation ). I would also lean to Dep. La Coruna to secure a rare win at plus money.

Its never an easy task to travel to foreign soil and bring home a victory for the 2nd leg. I just dont feel as though it really matters where these two meet , the outcome seems inevitable. This is not the same Basel team that defeated Man Utd at home 1 - 0 , a few months ago ( even though Man U dominated the majority of play ). They come into this game looking very average and lethargic the past few weeks, perhaps in some part to injured Midfielder Luca Zuffi. They had reeled off an 8 game win streak prior to his injury , and been 2Wns 0 Draws and 3 Losses since. In their last game @ Thun , they were 2 - 0 winners , yet were outplayed throughout. The previous home game vs lowly Luzern , they were 1 - 0 losers and again outplayed throughout. This stretch of poor play comes at a very bad time for them , as the likes of Silva , Aguero , Sterling , De Bruyne , Fernandinho and Gundogen....... come to town. I just dont see this team able to gain any real control in midfield, and will be hard pressed to keep up with City's overall speed ( even without Sane ).

I have to admit that this is a bit of a Homer bet. My step mother was born and raised in Cajamarca , and i had one of my favorite excursions there in 1980. I fell in love with the people , the little " small town " that you crossed The Andes to reach, and of course the amazing Peruvian flake

. Its a bustling city now , since the discovery of Gold mining , but the high altitude is still a factor. Tough place to travel to and get a result. The price is too good to pass up
