Manchester United -1.5 (2.14) against Swansea City
Many may back Swansea +1.5 at home because of some big wins at home last year and because of their success against Man U in the recent meetings--Swansea has 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 loss in the last 6 meetings over the last 3 years including the 1-1 draw at manchester last season. Swansea however is very weak this year and lost star players from last year. The 0-0 draw to open the season can mislead punters but Swansea was very lucky to come out with a draw there. Southapmton had many chances and attacked while swansea kept defending--Southampton lead the corners whopping 11-0. Manchester United on the other looks to be in very good form and the team is much improved from last year. They will control this match from start to finish and there will be plenty of chances. Swansea might put up a fight in the first half and eventually they will fold to Man U's attack. This could be another clean sheet for Manchester United.
Burnley/West Bromwich DRAW (3.10)
Burnley shocked the world and broke many bettors bankroll by beating Chelsea on the road as a big underdog. Now those same bettors who lost money and those who watched the games might be very tempted to back Burnely at home againt weaker West Brom but this is a classic let down spot. First, Chelsea had a lot of problems in that match including their start player getting sent off with red card 14 minutes into the game that opened up opportunities for Burnely. Second, Chelsea still fought back from 0-3 deficit to make the game 1-3 but they got another red card when Fabregas was sent off in the 81st minute to go two man down. Chelsea still managed to score another goal 2 man down to end the game with a 2-3 loss. For burnley that will be the biggest victory of the season and from that you can expect a let down. However, West Brom is not a strong team, especially away from home and they will play most of their away games not to lose. Burnley will try to avoid let down and they will be happy with 1 point. This game has all the making of a classic 0-0 or 1-1 draw.
Crystal Palace +1.5 (1.76) against Liverpool. Also Over 3 (2.00)
Liverpool had a busy week--after their disappointing 3-3 draw against Watford last weekend, they went to Germany to play a champions league game during the middle of the week. Liverpool has plenty of attacking power but they are very shaky at the back. Crystal Palace lost 0-3 at home to newly promoted Huddersfield but they are lot better than what they showed in that game and its a good wake up call. If you are adventurous, try a smalle fun bet on Crystal palace ML at the current 8.20 odds. Crystal palace always plays Liver pool tough (3 wins in the last 5 PL meeting and all 3 were on the road including 1 last season) and they have won as bigger underdog than today. Crystal palace currently has a 3 game win streak in Anfield (2-1 win last year and 2-1 and 3-1 wins in the previous two seasons.
Bournemouth 2.10 against Watford
Bornemouth had over 70% percent of possession against West Brom last week but failed to score. But today they will have Defoe ready to start and this game will be at home. Because of last weeks results Watford odds might entice bettors but Watford is a very poor road team. Bournemouth should be a favorite of 1.75 to 1.80 in this game, so 2.10 has value.
