    Ok here we go.

USA playing in Costa Rica is 0-6-1.

    USA rank #15 in world
Costa Rica rank #45 in world.

Wanchope no longer plays for Costa Rica.
Costa Rica is 18-1-2 at home since 2000.
Costa Rica has beat up teams such as Haiti, Suriname and El Salvadore, not very impressive teams.

People come on, USA is the better team. USA is improving each year!

    USA +115 in a Pick'em.

Game starts at 10pm EST June 3.

I'm leaning towards the draw/over. Waiting to see what the line does, it's hard to picture a convincing US win but I do think both teams will score. GL tonight.

had to add...US had trouble in El Salvador, then beat up on Trinidad, not really doing much for me, if the money starts coming in on the US I will be forced to go the other way.

I can't put money on the USA on the road against Costa Rica in a WC Qualifier. I think Costa Rica will win it. Forget the shit called FIFA rankings.

This isn't 2005... American soccer fans are finally demanding results from their team, and there is big pressure to at least get a point at CR and win at the Azteca.

Not to mention CR won 3-0 last time around, but the US didn't care cause they had qualified by then..

I am picking a US draw (and very slightly chance of a win), you can't count history when one team has significantly improved!

This is a tough one to pick a winner so ive decided to attack this one from another angle. The US will have some issues at RB with Cherundolo and Hedjuk out. My guess is Spector will get the start with his EPL experience. They should keep beasley at LB and allow him to roam up to offensive winger with his speed. And after Jozy hat trick he will def get the start today. This is my starting 11:

                Howard
                Spector
                Onyewu
                Bocanegra
                Beasley
                Dempsey
                Mastroeni
                Bradley
                Donovan
                Altidore
                Ching

Sapprissa it a turf field which works well for the US players in the MLS. With this squad the US will score. Costa Rica will score at home. That puts us at 1-1. So the play for me is the draw with a bet on the over in case either team score an extra goal.

Oh nice. One of my books has the total at 2 goals. This works out much better.

Scratch that draw play. I will play exact score 1-1 +500. i dont see this one going 0-0 or 2-2. Also going with over 2 -130

Scratch the over also. If it does go over i think it will be 2-1 to either side. i will play these at +800 and +900

Phillth, there is not much value in score results, actually they are really undervalued. Picking an exact score is one of the toughest events to predict in soccer and long-term it doesn't work. If you like betting score-results in my opinion its best to look for games that you think will be low scoring and go for the 0-0 along with the Under.

Costa Rica have a good home record in general and a great one against USA, they are a young inexperienced squad with a few talented players. However, US football is on the rise and the national team has been doing well.

Costa Rica Win/Draw is the most likely result as the US would be happy with a draw. They are top of the group right now, a draw will keep them there and it would be a good result as the team haven't done well away from home in Central America, drawing against El Salvador. As long as they keep grinding out results away the US will finish the job at home, they've already defeated the favourites Mexico and shouldn't have too much trouble beating most the other teams at home aswell.

Yeah i rarely play exact results unless its WC matches or the Euros. I destroyed the Euros last year. I figured id take a shot here considering my book expects a low scoring match and i expect 2 or 3 goals. assuming i capped the match right theres value there. Dont worry, im risking fractions of units here.

BOL for the 1-1 today, theres no better feeling than getting the score exactly right
