Swarm Intelligence to predict Euro 2016

Hey guys,

Not sure how many of you are aware of swarm intelligence but it's recently been used to predict the results of some sporting events such as the kentucky derby, and NHL Playoffs. So my question is, why aren't we all using this to predict the eurocup results and make some money!

If you already know what it is, then fantastic. As far as euro 2016 predictions, a small group of us have already been making predictions everyday in this swarm room http://go.unu.ai/unums/1334

We'd love to have as many of you come to the room and make predictions with us since a larger group will in theory yield more accurate results - and frankly it's more fun that way. We're currently making predictions at 7am Eastern Standard time/11am GMT.

There is no password on the room - the password screen just appears when the room is not active. It's only going to be active like 10 minutes before 7am EST until shortly after we're done picks. If you enter the room at those times there will not be a password prompt.

Unfortunately as far as the euro 2016 room goes, you won't be able to try it until we pick tomorrow. Hope to see you there!

From what i've read you're supposed to have 20 people participating for accurate results. Not trying to make excuses but i'm hoping we can get 20 or more people soon so we can gauge whether the record gets any better.

Yesterdays results were not good at all but again, 20 people or more are recommended for good results so hopefully we can get that today. Will work on a spreadsheet later this week to show all the results!

So today we decided to turn off being able to see who other people are going for which is how it should've been done the whole time according to the research. Will be interesting to see what kind of difference it makes if any. Also worth noting that while I haven't compiled a spreadsheet the percentage of picks we've got right is actually pretty good to this point. Should be noted though that we aren't factoring the odds in picks, so many of the picks we've gotten right could have been very bad odds.

So a solid announcement for today:

Since most people on these forums are North American we thought it'd be a good idea to hold a room at 7pm nightly to predict the next days results. We'll still be running the 7am room in the morning, so we're thinking of it as a European Room, and a North American room.
