I'm Irish and not particular hopeful. Both teams have had a similar qualifying campaign and are only ranked 2 places apart in the FIFA rankings. This is one of the worst Irish teams in recent years and while Sweden are not world beaters themselves they do have Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The danger in trying to defend against him is that we will leave spaces for other players to exploit and we don't have the fast counter attacking setup with have had in recent years. Shane Long is our main man and if we score its likely to be him that does it.

I see this game being 1-1 or a Swedish 2-1 win.

From a betting point of view 'Ireland to score exactly 1 goal' at 7/5 can be had with Paddy Power & Bet365 and would be my pick.
