Copa America: How can Haiti possibly draw or win against Peru?
Odds are currently around -165 (1.65) for a Peru winner.

Peru has had no problem in warmups against T&T and El Salvador but more importantly are on a mission after finishing 3rd in the last 2 CA contests.

Haiti is no match for this determined Peru team.

    What am I missing?

That Haiti looked good against Colombia until a red card.

Thanks for the input. I'm going with Peru for the win.

Recap of the 1st 10 minutes:

-An obvious hand ball was missed
-The ball has been on the Haitian side of the field for about 90% of the time
-The Haitians are playing well on defense
-The Peruvians almost always intercept a Haitian pass
-A Peruvian player's shot went 15 yards wide from 30 yards out

I don't see how Haiti can score at all here. I believe they will tire out eventually and give up a goal or two.

I agree wholeheartedly. When Peru got the ball anywhere near the Haitian box it looked like they simply gave it over to the Haitians. Near the end the Peruvians were throwing in from the side into a crowd of 1 team member with 3 opponents multiple times. They also almost gave up that goal at the end.

A couple things reminded me of why I don't like watching soccer. A lot of the shots went wide of the goal by 10 yards or more, even relatively close shots. Then there's the flopping near the box to get a goal shot (like at the end). But I think the worst thing is watching the crybabies who are tripped. I get it. You want the referee to give you team the ball. So once he does man up and get on with the game instead of whining like a bitch.

I'll take the money and run.
