    Jaak's picks
Hey folks! The first thread I made in SBR was a complete disaster. 90% of the time when I'm scrolling through the forum, it's NBA, so, naturally I thought that hey what the heck, I'm good enough to have my own NBA-picks-thread. No. Nono. Still thousands of hours of watching the games away of advising. BUT - soccer. Now in that, I know I'm good. Soccer is the one thing that keeps my sportsbook balances not hitting 0. I'm going to post a few tips here occasionally and because it is easier for me and other's to follow, I'm going to start out with a "$100 bankroll" and after games I'm going to do the math for you. Thank you for reading and let's have a good one folks!
    BOL to all :P

So the current "bankroll" stands at $118. Not a bad start at all. Going to post new ones probably tomorrow.

Okay - here goes (I'm sorry for my English in advance, actually for previous posts as well)!

            PSG vs Manchester City

            Pick: PSG -1.5 @ +175 $5

            Wolfsburg vs Real Madrid

            Pick: Real Madrid -1.5 @ +150 $5

            RECORD: W2-L0 +18.00

            PSG - MANCHESTER CITY

Even though two very important players for PSG are out (Marco Verratti and Javier Pastore), I still honestly believe that Parisians have a better squad. In the pre-match press-conference Laurent Blanc (PSG's head coach) dismissed such claims and said that "their squad overall has much more quality than ours," I still don't want to believe it. City lost at home to Manchester United who is a much weaker team and that should show something. Their results overall (in the past 1-2 months) haven't impressed me. It's not only about the result, it's about their way of playing. Yes - they won their last game against Bournemouth 0:4, but... It's the same as Cavaliers playing against a medicore Euroleague team. Of course, gotta give credit to Burnemouth as well, but who are we kidding here?
The real question for this game is: has Manuel Pellegrini (City's head coach) instruct his players to take it more easy and save themselves for the Champions League?

            PSG +/-

+ PSG have no pressure in their home league. They have already won it and still lead by 25 points...
            + Ibrahimovic.
+ They have accumulated some CL experience already. In the past heir star-players have performed very well in the Champions League as well.

            - Pastore and Verrati are out. They are very important to PSG, especially in European matches. An example would be if Modric is out for Real Madrid.
            - Ibrahimovic is booked and misses next match if the referee shows him the yellow.

            Manchester City +/-

+ In Sergio Agüero, they have one of the best strikers in the world. If he wouldn't be so injury-prone, he would've been in the Ballon d'Or TOP 3 in previous years for sure.
+ Manuel Pellegrini. He is a fantastic manager and sure knows how to put his players in to the proper emotional state.

            - Kompany is out. That means that City's defence is at least 2x weaker, honestly.
            - The players have a lot of pressure. This is their first Champions League quarter-final.

            WOLFSBURG - REAL MADRID

The club from blue-collar German city vs the most glamorous soccer club in the world. This is really, IMO, David vs Goliath. But in this match, the "villain" is going to win. Even though their posession is pretty even, another story unfolds when you compare their hunger for goals + we can not underestimate the morale of Los Blancos after the win against FC Barcelona, in Nou Camp.

            Wolfsburg +/-

+ They have a lot of motivation. A lot. And to be honest - that's the only plus I see for them, compared to Real Madrid.

            - Their players are individually worse than any of Real Madrid's players.

            Real Madrid +/-

+ Experience. A LOT of that.
+ BBC is healthy and they're all going to start the game. The way this trio can pick up and finish counter-attacks is crazy. I agree - Messi, Suarez and Neymar are naturally better, but in counter-attacks, Bale, Benzema and Cristiano are the best in the world. End of story.

            - Only Raphael Varane is out. Of course he's very important for Real, but Ramos and Pepe managed to play perfectly together.

BEST OF LUCK! Sorry for the grammar again and I'm not going to write these mini-analyzes a lot. I'm just pretty stoned at the moment and feel like writing, while listening to this song:
