Barcelona 0 AH. Barca want to score mroe in this tie. Suarez, Messi and Neymar don't hold back. These players want to go down as the best front 3 in history, and these are the games where you add another gold star in that regard.

Barca over 1.5 team goals.

What's your opinion on the Over/Under market? Do you see Bayern scoring a goal here, despite the injuries and current form or see the game ending 0-2?

I can see both teams scoring for sure. But just don't see how Barca get beat here. They have so much quality up front not to score goals. Bayern would have to sit Lahm and Alonso in front of the back 4 all game to keep them quiet, but of course they cannot do this. They need 4 goals.

I'll probably take Over 2.5 @1.70 on Betfair for 2 units and Barca TT Over 1.5 @2.40 for 1 unit

I can't make my mind up. If we see an early Barca goal then it's game over. So Bayern will be extremely cautious. And Guardiola said the same that if they start to chase they will lose with a lot of goals. The same happened last year against Real so I think he learned his lesson. On the other hand Under 2.5 is a risky bet. Maybe most goals scored in the second half is a good reasonable bet.

I won't be surprised if Pep has already given up on this game and just do damage control. After last season thrashing by Real Madrid, surely he doesn't want a repeat again which could result in a heavier aggregate scoreline.

At home, Bayern is always good for a goal. Barca should also score. BTTS is probably the best play.

Even the kids know that you will lose if you try to outscore Barca. Bayern will count on possession and good defending. If they start chasing Messi Suarez and Neymar will destroy them. As I said I can't decide what is the best bet here yet but draw is possible too.

That's a terrible bet. Everything Bayern do will be at pace tomorrow. They definitely won't be able to break down this Barca team by playing possesion football. Obviously for your sake, i hope i'm wrong. But I think Barca get around 55+ at minimum.

Bayern won't player counter attacking football. The only cahcne they have of breaking down this Barca team is constant probing. Passing the ball with pace, yes, but from side to side. Switching the ball quickly - looking for holes in the Barca defence. I'm not sure if I've ever been as confident of a possession bet.

Barca don't need the ball, in fact they probably actually want the Bayern team to push their men forward and try to break down their defence. Barca will be the team who will look to counter on the break. They will look to take advantage of Bayern players further up the pitch - this is how they scored the goals last week - by catching the Bayern defence out of shape.

The last thing Pep wants to happen is the repeat of last year's Real Madrid massacre. This occurred because:
1. Bayern got beat in the first leg, so had to make sure they won the 2nd
2. Complacency. They thought they could play their usual game and come away with their 'usual' result - in front of their home fans.

I think Pep will do everything to guard against this re-occurring. This includes keeping the ball for as long as possible, playing with a lot of width, and attempting to play intricate balls through the channels. They will look to keep at least one holding midfielder back at all times, and making sure that the full back don't bomb too far forward in risk of getting caught on the fast break - boy, those Barca forwards are QUICK!

Bayern just can't compete with their pace and level of technique. Suarez will be killing to score tonight after the chances he missed in the first leg.

The result all depends on whether Barca defence are able to keep their shape and not get drawn out of position by runners from midfielder. Also I think Messi and Neymar may need to do a bit of tracking back in order for Barca's fullbacks to not over run on the wings. And also depends on how clinical Barca are on their fast counter attacks. They will get chances for sure. Neuer will have to be at his best - quick off his line.

I can see Bayern trying to use the overlapping of the fullbacks to get crosses in. That is Barca's main weak point - lack of height in defence. So if Bayern are to use this strategy, they will most likely be vulnerable to counter attacks as their full backs will most likely be a fair bit up the pitch.

One thing I noticed about the first leg was that Barca were getting the ball forward very quickly quite often throughout the game - getting the ball into Suarez's feet a lot. I see them taking the same approach tonight, which means there is a decent possibility Pep will instruct his CBs to get in front of Suarez - not allowing him to control and turn or pass the ball to Messi or Neymar. This means that there would be a fairly high chance that Boateng or Benatia will mistime a few of these challenges and get themselves in the book. I think I'll have both of them on to get shown a card, along with Bayern RB Rafinha.

Starting to worry about that possession bet. Bayern not pressing from the front as well as I though they would. Barca are finding it pretty easy to play out of the back. Pep has also told his CBs to play quite a few long balls - a tactic which he as never used before. I think that could be difference between this bet losing and winning. Pretty disgusting at how unpredictable this shit is sometimes. I mean who would have bet on Pep telling players to play long balls? Really?
