Away game... no Yaya Toure... tempted to take City but they're just so inconsistent, and especially without Toure.

They haven't scored on Man City since they got promoted.

I have a 3 team parlay going. Mariners(Felix is the man), Dodgers(Kershaw...the man), and Man City. Pays out a little over +300

I just imagine, if City have any chance at catching Chelsea, they have to treat matches like this as MUST WIN. They aren't really in any danger when it comes to UCL group stage, but they definitely don't want to drop games like this

But Man City are a team who can win 5-0 one game, and then the next game look like they couldn't score even with 3 hours injury time. They're so inconsistent.

Must win doesn't really seem to mean as much as you'd think it would. It's usually the teams avoiding relegation that play beyond expectations when they need to. These players getting paid £200k/week regardless of their performance don't care, they will still get paid the same next year.

I too need Man City this afternoon ( noon here in Nevada ) but I do not feel very confident despite cashing a 4 team parlay with that ridiculous KC (MLS) come back yesterday. I be almost exclusively with William Hill. I just read the post about no Ya-Ya who is a spark for the team. However , 3 points will push them from 4th to 2nd in the table. Crystal Palace , although safely in the middle of the table have a poor home record. I have a feeling ( given Mo Money's note they they have not scored on Man City in what almost 2 seasons ?) that Man City should be patient and not panic should they be 0-0 at half. Just my 2 cents. Good Luck to all.

Yaya is actually starting, the site I checked yesterday said he was still injured.

Agreed they have come out with Big-Time energy and almost scored in the first minute.
Now maybe they can start to ignore the crowd and focus on getting the first goal without giving one away by making ridiculous positional errors !

I have absolutely nothing wagered on the game, but that Crystal goal looked offsides on the initial flicked header and again on the goalscorer. Lineman missed one or both of those I think

Agreed they look especially bad after the 2nd goal. They spent about 15 minutes in front of CP goal like a shooting gallery and even hit the post once. Then one short counterattack = goal at the 34 minute mark. The possible offsides is just part of the game I suppose
and that is out of our control. Like the very first post in this thread said : They truly are inconsistent and tough to handicap.

The only good thing to come out of this game, and you should all be giving it a look, is putting money on Liverpool to finish in the top 4. Man City are going to slip on out of there. They are in shambles after losing in the CL and can only go backwards. Get Liverpool while you can.
