Are Chelsea or PSG worth a play? I think Chelsea can play with anyone and PSG basically can. Not sure if PSG could hold down Real though if it came down to it

At this stage, I think it wise to put a lot of stock into who the manager is. Mourinho is the best manager in the competition in my opinion and that combined with Chelsea's talent and being able to win more than one way (ultra-defensive, counter-attack, physical and attacking) means for me they are the best bet at the moment. The only negative is that Diego Costa can get injured/suspended more than the average striker and the backups are not of the same quality.

Real Madrid are second favourites for me. Bayern are the same as they were last year and can they win 'ugly' when needed? I don't think so and don't think they could beat Chelsea or Real Madrid over 2 legs. However if they get to a final without meeting Chelsea or Real, then maybe they could.

PSG won't get past the next round in my opinion. The manager is tactically inept (he took off Veratti v Barca, when he was their best player), the players don't play for him (see their results v inferior teams this season) and when two good teams play, always go with the best manager (Mourinho is far, far superior).

Dortmund are too affected by confidence to have any trust in. Reus is a wonderful player and with him back they will only be better, but in my opinion only him and Sokratis are elite players. Italian teams are difficult to call. Serie A is in a bad way at the moment (Roma haven't beaten a single good team under Rudi Garcia in my opinion and they are comfortably the 2nd best team in Italy. The way Bayern and Man City easily dealt with Roma makes me not trust Italian teams). I can't see Juventus or Dortmund getting past the quarter-finals.

Arsenal will struggle against a superior team (they haven't beaten anyone above 12th place all season in the Premier League) and their weakness is refusing to change their gameplan no matter who they are playing.

Atletico have a chance of getting to the semi-finals. Simeone is the 2nd or 3rd best manager in the competition for me and still a great tournament team.

Man City have a good chance v Barcelona as Luis Enrique is tactically inept and Barca have a poor defence. So do Man City so I don't see either of these teams being able to beat Chelsea, Real Madrid or Atletico.

So, I think the 4 best teams left are:
    1a: Chelsea
    1b: Real Madrid
    3: Atletico Madrid
    4: Bayern

and I would bet Chelsea to win the tournament with an each-way bet on Atletico.

Yeah, there is great value on Chelsea. The price on PSG is huge too. I agree Arsenal cannot play with the best teams, though they have an easy draw. Chelsea at +700 or probably better you can find, is just high because they are playing PSG. I would probably say Chelsea/Real, Bayern or Man City. Would like PSG's chances much more if they didn't have the shitty draw vs Chelsea. What's weird is that on my book PSG dropped from +2200 to +2000. I also think Juventus is a very good team and with odds around +2500 its really attractive despite Serie A being shit. But it's true they don't match up to the true "top class" of chelsea, real, bayern.

I agree. I don't think they have a prayer against most remaining teams.....possibly Arsenal. Even Arsenal are starting to click more and find the back of the net. I do disagree that Bayern are the same team. While they may have the same players they do not have the same chemistry as last year....... definitely not on the road. Real on the other hand is firing on all cylinders and have all the confidence in the world. I think the only ones who could challenge them in either spanish team or Chelsea. More so Chelsea because Mr. M knows the Real players to well and knows their weaknesses. However, I agree, if something happens to Costa..... good night Chelsea. Same holds true for Aguero for Man City.

PSG doesn't play well except in champs league that's their main focus and reason i brought it up, their last loss to barca could have went their way

I agree that they wake up for Champs but can't buy that the Barca game could have gone either way. The early goal by PSG was one of a few good looks.
