i have long time theory, what here comes in "dressing room mood" to predict these.
no stats or skills can provide coloration to find them.

it`s like.. top teams always concedes against bottom teams, comes down to just collective attitude for game.
surely, there are player or two , who just like dragged their feet to midweek game, and relaying on teammates on a day..
there are underdogs, who sits there in dressing room before game and collectively decides... fk this, there is no hope tonight...or fk this, let`s enjoy ourselves, doomed anyway.
etc.,

and of course then there are football gods, who decides that one day, player who haven`t scored for 50 games, suddenly, smashes in one 30 yarder - goal of a season, and then other day, all team shots will hit a bar ...
