both teams, in both matches today, cant afford to lose and want all 3 points... and both favs probably not gonna go for kill from off, as both away, i think things will resolve at a end of 90 min...

rule stands now, for ref to avoid red + pen , to not kill game, unless severe occasion... yellow + pen -> still old rules
seems its have become free kick+pen , which only will encourage defenders for last gasp challenge
agree ... yellow is yellow no matter where you are

The EPL refs were in great form today, just like the first goal taken off board in Southampton Everton game. The refs have too much power in these soccer matches.

I think VAR has ruined the game. Soccer is different than football, basketball, and baseball. A video review in a soccer match changes the outcome and more than half the time it's still a judgement call. It seems as if they air on the side of no goal if it goes to VAR, it has almost made soccer unbettable to me.

it has lost "jump and celebrate moment" .. i can see it online sky and espn fans... where celebrations starts like 2 min later, when you sure , even var not coming back with something....
and players after scoring.... used to be thing.... running like a madman... having your own celebration style ... going shirt off....
but now they dont wanna look "silly"... going all out celebrating, just to be told that 5 min earlier there was unfair challange what led to goal , or he was plank measurement offside...

if i would add rules , i would add -1 point for draw .... 5 min off field , if medical had to come over for checkup but suddenly you wanna get back in there ..
