In 6 match we never lost game against Italy, traditionally we play really good against Italy...according to local newspaper about 6000 Cro fans will be at stadium and that is great!
All players are compete for first 11 while Italy team have some problems with injury, (Chiellini, Baloteli)
So, Cro will win or draw at this game, not lost!

Yes, Croatia does play well against Italy. Actually you could same the same for all the big teams of Europe. Croatia tends to raise their game to the competition at hand. However, they aren't nearly as attack minded on the road as they are at home ( just look to the Bulgaria game ).
I agree that Chellini will be missed, but Balotelli is more of a distraction then an asset to the team right now.
It's a very important game for Italy, and I expect them to do what they always do in tight spots.........find a way to win. And I get them at plus money as a bonus......BOL to your team.

I just have a hard time with stats like....." The last 6 games we never lost to Italy ". The last time these two played was 2 years ago, and before that almost 8 years ago. Not sure anyone playing today had any impact on those games. I realize Pirlo will be sorely missed, but I'm hearing that Chellini is a go for Italy. Should be a good game to watch.

Again, I still stand behind my point. Stats from many years ago mean absolutely nothing to the team playing on the field. I'm sure Germany could care less that no European team had ever won a World Cup on South American soil. Bottom line, Croatia took advantage of the midfield absence of Pirlo, and a very uncharacteristic blunder by Buffon on the Croatian goal. Unfortunately, Buffon missing an easy shot wasn't in the " obvious stats " column when I capped the game.
For the record, I am of German descent, and a huge fan of Bayern Munich and the German National team, in case you wish to debate " 100 years of stats " .

I guess it would have been good to know exactly what " his tips " were. He never stated here, or anywhere else, that he was wagering on a tie on this game. He only came into my thread to pass judgement on the choice I had made.
For the record, I am 368 - 0 when posting my wagers after their completion.
