Don't worry about a mexican referee, they are the best.

This is only bad if the ref cant tell diving from a foul and gives a bs penalty. Otherwise it will probable be good since brasilians are fouling like crazy relative to the germans.

There's only 1 thing that changes with this ref, and thats the card count. Hammer your books card props IMO: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_A...Rodr%C3%ADguez

I can see the ref propping up Brazil by showing red to a German, then everyone would be like "Well, he's always been a strict ref"...

                Mexico - not a beacon of anti-corruption

Well, I don't think there is fixing now or any biased referees in the 4 matches that are left. The only thing that worries me is the referee falling for diving attempts by the players that can ruin the game.

Don't know about that. If Germany loses the game, Germans will be back at work the next day building Audis. If Brazil loses - half the country will be on fire

Appointing a ref from some backwater league is not a very encouraging sign. If they had Webb, then I would've felt good about the game, but with a Mexican ref...??

The ref will make you want to lick your elbow. The ref is the hero of the game. Sometimes he will block the shot or the pass. Sometimes he will give the red card to the wrong team. He possesses the power, nobody can argue. Oh, gosh, he will make sure that Brasil will not lose the game in RT. But, I will go with Germany pk.

I think the Brazilians will accept their loss and move on especially with the injury of Neymar and the suspension of Silva.
they reached the semi finals which is good

FIFA have gave strict order NOT to deal out yellow cards and keep it low as possible. Thats why there are so few yellow cards dealt so far in the tournament.
FIFA changed the rules for yellow cards this WC, before yellow cards resets after group stages and doesnt counts at final stages. But this year it does and reason for FIFAS stupid strict order to referees not to deal out yellow cards easily.
