Just like Argentina and all the other favorites showed up in the quarters, so will Netherlands against a much inferior team. Costa Rica is hyped up for defeating Italy and Uruguay in the group stages and drawing England. Those countries weren't going seriously to challenge for the cup anyways. Costa Rica has had a fantastic run, but IMO it ended in the last 16 where they lost discipline and were almost broken down by the stubborn Greeks.
Netherlands is going to exploit the wings in this game with both Robben and Memphis. Costa Rica could keep the goal tally low if they play the game of their lives, but all it takes is a few slip ups to open the gates and with Sneijder finding his feet, the dead balls could all be goal opportunities.
This could get ugly for Costa Rica if Netherlands do show up, which they should by now. You could grab your balls and take -1, but also wait for the 2nd half. Either way I don't see how Costa Rica is not going to be dominated.
