Any chance that Chile beats Spain? Netherlands crushed them, but they have extremely potent offense as they just showed it again vs Australia. Can Chile compete with them?

As the noon game showed Australia is not that bad so I think Chile can hold with Spain, but I still think that Spain has the better team. Though I go with Chile today, maybe the double chance with Chile or Draw as a draw could be enough for Chile.

Well 4 years ago they were a great side. You can't write off history based on their performance now.

May as well do a small hedge. I never hedge and it cost me in the tennis. Had Halep at 21000 in French Open. She got to the final and I never hedged (cos I come from a BJack background and the rule is never take "insurance"). She lost after a 3 hour marathon. Pretty galling.

I decided I'm going to hedge in future even if for a little bit..

Yeah its the gambling greed in us...the thought of making such a good call before the match makes you want to let it ride and take the whole pot instead of losing anything. It's a bit tougher in soccer though cuz of the draw factor, but spain is at +880 and draw is almost +500. I don't see myself doing much hedging here.

I've started hedging (or cashing out on Bet365) and my bankroll has been going up. I would have lost big time in Ghana v USA the other day (cashed my Ghana to win or draw chase bet I placed while USA were up 1-0) minutes before USA scored.

At first it's hard to do, and annoying when your bet would have won, but the times you make the right choice you'll be grateful

I outsmarted myself out of hedging thinking that in the long-term it will cost me. But it does allow you to ride out variance.
