Until Fellaini was subbed in, Belgium looked horrible and only after that they got lucky, cause Algeria risked too much going to offense and got punished for that. I really liked Belgium chances to win a group and I still think they should be favorites but there's no way that their game was impressive in the first match.

yeah they werent impressive at all! Fellaini and Merterns changed the game - I guess if they start in next game then they will be more dangerous in final third. Big problem is they are playing 4 natural central defenders in defence. Vertonghen and Alderweireld are ok full backs (especially Toby as he has a superb diagonal long pass and his crossing is decent) but still is not natural for them to be giving much needed width to the team - which was clearly needed when Algeria went a goal up then bunkered. That is why Mertens coming in was so significant - he offered some width and direct running threat unlike Chadli.
