Colombia World Cup 94 tragedy

Not too sure if anyone remember this incident. 20 years ago, Colombia were 1 of the favs for the WC after going through the qualifiers undefeated and also defeated Maradona's Argentina 5-0 in Buenos Aires on their way.

Things didn't go well after they went to the World Cup. They finished bottom in a relatively easy group. Andres Escobar scored an own goal in the 2-1 defeat to USA. He was later killed a month later because of it.

This year, they are heading the the World Cup as 1 of the favs again. Hopefully the same tragedy won't happen again.

Amazing doco alright, really sad ending he seemed an incredibly nice guy.

That 5-0 drubbing of Argentina was probably one of the greatest footballing performances of all time, to be given a standing ovation down there is quite special.

Because Neymar is their only good player?

No. They have probably the most stacked team + HFA. Their only weakness is Fred, but hes a very solid striker.
