I understand betting unders because the value continues to improve every minute that goes by that there isn't a goal but its the opposite with overs, the value gets worse.

Plenty of other teams score a lot more goals in second half of games than they do first half...as a random example...Arminia Bielefeld have scored 19 goals at home this season and 16 have come in second half of games, plenty of other teams are similar.
Pescara are currently playing Novara in Serie B. 0-0 at HT, but Novara have conceded 30 goals away form home this season and 21 of them have come in second half of games, and they've scored 10 of 14 in second half of games so somebody may see this as a better situation to wait and live bet at HT then play the Over 2 or over 2.5 at start of game.Comment -
as you are watching a game you can sometimes feel a goal coming with periods of sustained pressure or very open play where teams are charging at one another and not trackin back...it makes perfect sense...probably one of the best plays i ever made was OVER 2.5 in the 80th minute of the champions league final..i felt bayern or borussia were not keen on extra time and were pushing for a goal...to my reward Robben scored in the 89th minute on a really great play!Comment -

you are assuming there wont be any goals! for over 1.5/under 1.5 second half - overs a are looking for a goal before 65, if it hits they are in a better position than under backers.
