    AFC Champions League
    Melbourne Victory v Guangzhou Evergrande

guangzhou were down 0-2 to victory at home in feb 26. but let down their guard

letting 4 goals net during the second half.

it will be there last chance at home tomorrow to show up as a defeat will rule them out of

    the competition.

Guangzhou left Italian international Alessandro Diamanti and Chinese superstar Gao Lin out of its travelling party, whereas Victory has almost a full squad to choose from with Kosta Barbarouses (ankle) and Pablo Contreras (hamstring) expected to be available.

Victory’s front four of Gui Finkler, James Troisi, Archie Thompson and Barbarouses produced a dominant display in the 4-1 win over Wellington on Saturday.

i think a play on victory will be very nice here, the win on saturday is there prep. for this match
watch melbourne get back into it.

I believe Finkler is not in the CL squad. Anyway, I still think Guangzhou will win. Victory will be looking forward to their playoff game this Fri against Sydney. They have yet to beat them this season in 3 meetings. It will also be a 3rd game in 7 days for them. I can't see them putting a CL game as priority over a more achievable target which is the A-league title.

I knew I should have got onto Melbourne Victory last night, decent odds available on most games.

I've got this bet on for £1000+ returns. Al Ain 0-2 up.
