Clash for the save on the Via Del Mare pitch, where Lecce and Reggina face each other in a must-win contest for both sides. This is by far the most important match of the season for the hosts, who could finally leave the relegation zone in case of a win and of a few negative results by their opponents (namely Chievo, Bologna and Torino), but despite being still last in the table Reggina keep on believing in the comeback and will make things difficult for Mario Beretta’s men. I’d be tempted to give Lecce confidence only because of the home field advantage, but the hosts have won only twice in front of their fans and most importantly they come from four straight losses, with no goals scored and ten conceded (although against much stronger opponents), while Reggina have lost only once in the last six despite having faced giants like Roma, Milan and Fiorentina. The form is definitely on the Calabrians’ side, the teams are pretty equal, so why not an away win? That’s my call.
