Basel won over Chelsea in Chelsea's first CL game under Mourinho. Since then, Basel has drawn two and lost one. Chelsea's gonna f em up, I think. Too much class difference. Basel haven't done well since their shock-win at Stamford. I'd say 2-3 Chelsea and 0-1 Basel. Chelsea ML and whatever AH seems the straight forward choice.

Basel's done well in their league, but a 0-1 loss against Schalke and two 1-1 draws with Steaua Bucharest doesn't bode well for their international quality + Chelsea's bench is quite strong. Many of those sub-super stars sitting on there waiting for their turn. A bit different from some of the other BPL top teams.

F.ex. just for further contrast:
Basel: 2-1, 0-1, 1-1, 1-1 in CL. Chelsea: 1-2, 4-0, 3-0, 3-0

First game was an off-game. Unlikely to go wrong with Chelsea ML in any case in my opinion.

dont think chelsea loses but even with revenge in mind i think they could draw. chelsea only needs 1 point to qualify and mourinho has proven a million times to be a cautious manager. to me, the value is on the draw.

Chelsea have some issues in the defense from time to time and that is my only concern. If the defense will play disciplined enough and not allowing many open shots, they can win this.
