No actually his Overs were just fine, you must agree it was such a low scoring night. In the earlier games scoring was decent, the late ones the opposite - maybe it was too cold

at this stage of the group stages a lot of teams start playing B sides which leads to low scoring matches

Well, Shakter were really bad and PAOK really defended themselves properly. I guess it was their plan to defend themselves and score a goal. I don't know about Legia-Lazio, but I guess Legia just didn't care too much. Also Candreva wasn't playing, Lulić and Floccari came very late in the game. For Lyon-Betis I knew, there isn't going to be a goalfest, cause Lyon plays PSG this weekend and Betis left some important players home. Bordeaux-Eintracht kind of surprises me though.

The premise of making soccer bets solely based on an odds reading system is maybe a little out there. He shouldn't have chased today and gone 0-3 instead of 0-6.

I will say that anytime. If you post 3 plays and lose 'em all, shake it off, quit for the day, start over the next day. Chasing kills gamblers.

You're right, in individual cases you might make up losses. In the long run, if you allow yourself to chase, it will bite you in the ass. Just like in the long run juice will cost you. And imo parlays as well.
Just my opinion, everybody has one.

If you can actually find value, then you are supposed to play parlays with them (and not just singles.)
If you randomly take bets - then parlays kill you.

It's a tricky subject, I avoid them like the plague and all the real people that I know that make money betting on sports do as well. But, I will admit there's some wiggle room, for example, the over 2.5 's for yesterday's CL matches were so overpriced due to public hammering, that I would have combined a few into pairs. If I played parlays, which I don't. Parlaying ml's and the so called teasers I have never seen work in the long run.
